About Porta Air Service

Porta Air Service is a growing general and business aviation MRO provider with a strong track record in turboprop maintenance across Europe. Established in 1965, we have built a reputation for technical excellence and customer-focused service.

Following continued expansion of our King Air fleet support activities, we are proud to announce the opening of our new facility at Münster Airport (FMO) — and we’re looking for experienced, motivated engineers to join us from day one.

The Role

We are seeking a qualified B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with hands-on experience on the Beechcraft King Air family to support our line and base maintenance operations at our new Münster location. You will work directly on customer aircraft, ensuring the highest standards of airworthiness, safety, and turnaround efficiency.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing team in a dynamic MRO environment, with direct involvement in shaping our new station from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on King Air series aircraft in accordance with manufacturer documentation and EASA Part-145 requirements.

  • Sign off maintenance tasks within the scope of your B1 licence and type authorisations.

  • Carry out troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and rectification of airframe, engine, and systems defects.

  • Liaise with the Continuing Airworthiness Management team and flight operations on technical matters.

  • Maintain accurate and complete maintenance records and technical documentation.

  • Mentor and support less experienced technicians and apprentices where required.

  • Uphold and promote a strong safety culture at all times.

Requirements

Essential

  • Valid EASA Part-66 B1 Licence (Turboprop category).

  • Type rating or experience on one or more of: Beechcraft King Air C90, King Air 200 / B200, King Air 350 / B350.

  • Minimum 3 years of post-licence maintenance experience on turboprop aircraft.

  • Solid understanding of PT6A engine systems.

  • Proficient in technical English, written and verbal, with the right to work within the EU or Schengen Area.

Preferred

  • Authorisations on multiple King Air variants, including C90, 200 series, and 350 series.

  • Experience in an EASA Part-145 approved maintenance environment.

  • Familiarity with BendixKing and Collins avionics systems common to the King Air fleet.

  • German language skills are an advantage, but not required.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience and type ratings held, plus a tool allowance.

  • Support for additional King Air type rating endorsements, training, and continuous professional development.

  • A friendly, experienced team in a modern, well-equipped facility — and an opportunity to grow with the station as we expand operations at FMO.

  • Relocation support considered for the right candidate.

Location

Münster Osnabrück International Airport (FMO), Münster / Osnabrück, Germany.
